The Places On Sandara Park’s Travel Bucket List Should Be On Yours, Too!
Traveling, whether for work or leisure, has always been part of the life of K-Pop superstar Sandara Park. Born in Busan in South Korea, Sandara and her family also lived in Daegu, before moving to the Philippines, where she established a career as a celebrity.
With Star Circle Quest, a reality-based talent competition on TV, serving as her springboard to stardom, Sandara enjoyed phenomenal success as an actress, which also gave her opportunities to tour around.

In 2007, just around three years into her showbiz career, Sandara packed her bags, left the Philippines, and moved back to South Korea with her family. Her Filipino fans didn’t hear much about her since—until she made headlines again for a major comeback, this time as a K-Pop star and member of all-girl group 2NE1.
2NE1 may be disbanded now, but the popularity the group enjoyed at the peak of their career allowed them to reach an international audience; this made traveling an essential part of their work schedule.
With the disbandment of the group, Sandara focused on further re-establishing her individual career, whether in the field of acting, hosting, product endorsement, or even in music.
An influencer on social media, this Penshoppe endorser makes sure to update her almost 7 million followers on Instagram about her whereabouts—and it’s pretty hard to keep up with her. One day she’s in Paris attending Fashion Week, the next day she’s backpacking in Switzerland, then the following days, she’s posting about Jeju, Singapore, and Seoul.
Aside from her work commitments, Sandara also runs her own YouTube vlog called the Dara TV, which currently has more than 360,000 subscribers. Posting anything from her outfits, events, and everything in between, her channel also has a lot to do with travelogues. She’s vlogged about Japan, Palawan, Boracay, Bangkok, Singapore, and of course, Seoul.

Last weekend, Sandara returned to the Philippines for the Penshoppe Fan Con held at the MOA Arena. And during the press con with her and Korean actor Nam Joo-hyuk, Metro.Style asked her about the places she wishes to see next. She said, “Actually, marami. I also want to visit Greece, Egypt, Africa. Pero for now, I think I really want to go to Batanes. I really wanted to go but I was afraid because walang signal and that’s a big problem nowadays.”
Sandara had left Manila again, and already, we can’t wait to see her again.
