Highly acclaimed trot singer and Korean superstar Young Tak is coming to the Philippines, as announced by global concert promoter Live Nation Philippines. The South Korean singer, songwriter, actor and television personality’s first Manila visit is happening on February 6 and 7, 2023, for a series of shows and promo appearances.

Debuted in 2007 as a ballad singer with his first album Young Tak Disid, Young Tak started his career by releasing the trot album Nuna You're Perfect in 2016. In 2020, he became well-known by placing second in the TV Chosun and South Korean reality TV audition show for a singer who performed trot music out of 17,000 participants. The trot is a popular genre of Korean music characterized by its repetitive rhythms and vocal inflections.
