Scenes From the "Un/Happy for You" Red Carpet Premiere Night

And the love team many people missed is back! Ahead of its premiere, Un/Happy for You held a red carpet event to kick-start its nationwide release. Held on August 13 at SM Megamall, the movie's cast, led by Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, alongside director Petersen Vargas, gathered with their family, friends, and fans to watch the movie for the first time. 

Before the movie's premiere, Julia told the audience gathered in the cinema, "I hope you guys enjoy. Sana magustuhan niyo 'yung pelikula, and if you do, tell your friends also about it." 

Joshu added, "Sa buong team ng Un/Happy for You, ito na 'yun, finally, 'yung pinaghirapan natin. Sana mag-enjoy po kayo ngayong gabi."

The event was also graced by Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi; Julia's mom Marjorie Barretto; Julia's sister Dani Barretto and her husband, Xavi Panlilio; the Sparks Camp 2 campers with Mother Sparker Mela Habijan; Arci Muñoz and Eli Padilla; Capinpin Brothers; JC Alcantara; Nikki Valdez and Luis Garcia; director Gino Santos;  

Un/Happy for You, a collaboration between Star Cinema and Viva Films, is a breakup movie that stars real-life exes Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Its cast includes Nonie Buencamino, John Lapus, Ketchup Eusebio, Bianca de Vera, Aljon Mendoza, Meann Espinosa, Bong Gonzales, and Kaila Estrada.
