The multi-faceted talent added a new achievement to an already impressive resume over the weekend when he gathered thousands of his followers in a music festival that doubled as an official attempt to break the world record of the most number of people simultaneously applying lipstick in one place.

Held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the "Ganda For All" show brought local artists like Darren Espanto, Moira dela Torre, Yeng Constantino, Gloc-9, Shanti Dope, Mayonnaise, Keiko Necessario, AC Bonifacio, December Avenue, The Juans, Janine Berdin, Eumee, and Sud to an excited crowd.

Arguably, the evening's climax came when Vice Ganda took the stage and addressed everyone in the Big Dome about why they were there: to beat the existing world record of 5,840 people held by China.

With an official Guinness representative onstage with him to oversee the record-breaking attempt, Vice Ganda cued the crowd who was more than ready with Vice Cosmetics lipsticks in hand; that was the only condition—entrance to the show was free of charge, but patrons needed to present their own lipsticks purchased from the brand.

In a matter of seconds, the night's participants used their pocket mirrors, phones, and even each other as guides as they happily applied lipstick.

When the time was up, an official tally was conducted and results were announced: a total of 6,900 people joined the challenge, and the Guinness World Record was officially transferred to the Philippines, thanks to Vice Ganda!

The announcement was met with thunderous applause and cheers, with Vice Ganda himself being the happiest to hear it.

"We made it!" he posted on Twitter, along with a snapshot of a certificate sealing the official transfer of the world record.
