WATCH: We Accompanied Alex Gonzaga As She Prepares For The ABS-CBN Ball

Metro.Style takes you on an exclusive look as the celebrity vlogger gamely and generously shares a sneak peek on how she prepares for this year’s ball.

“Maraming nagtatanong sa ‘kin, ‘Alex, anong preparation na ginawa mo this year?’ Ang mas bagay na tanong ay, ‘Prepared ba ang ABS-CBN Ball para sa isang Alex G.?” she quips, in her classic joking manner.

Kidding aside, Alex goes through the motion of prepping up not just when it comes to meeting up with her glam team, evaluating the concept behind her Modern Filipiniana gown, discussing her overall look and getting all dolled up with hair and makeup, but also what she does amid all the whirlwind of pre-ABS-CBN Ball activities.

“Usually, chika. More on kwentuhan during the preparation and [doing my] nails. Prayer also,” she shares.

You would also find her toying with her ever-reliable OPPO A9 to keep her entertained while waiting to get her hair and makeup done.

“With OPPO A9, you can binge-watch because you can download movies all day without even using up or draining your battery,” she explains, noting the 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos features of the phone.

She also loves playing games on her phone especially since she confessed she gets bored easily.

Just like any other person her age, she also loves documenting her activities especially for the ABS-CBN Ball and uploading it on her social media platforms to keep her followers updated. In fact, she loves the 48MP camera feature of her OPPO A9.

“Pinaka-favorite ko is the camera [because of the high quality pictures.] Alam mo ‘yung sometimes sa ibang phone, you’ve got to have a lot of apps just to edit? ‘Yung bago mo ma-post, aabutin ka ng sampung apps? With OPPO, you can just upload right after taking the picture because ang kinis mo na and there’s stickers and text din. Natutuwa rin ako sa storage memory kaya hindi sya nagla-lag,” she explains.

Throughout her preparation for the night, her thoughts drift to the other exciting moments she looks forward to.

“Nakakatuwa because I’ll get to see my peers and colleagues and at the same time, you get to help people. Nakakatouch isipin na right after mawala si Ms. Gina (Lopez), tuloy pa rin ‘yung advocacy nya through ABS-CBN. Her dreams, her passion, and her love for helping didn’t stop,” she pensively says.

Sharing the ABS-CBN Ball moments to her fans and followers is also on her agenda.

“I’ll be updating and invading the Instagram accounts of Metro and OPPO. I’ll also do IG stories for my account. I’m really excited to share to the netizens and to my followers ‘yung mga nangyayari sa ball,” she announces, smiling.
