Where To Watch These "The World Of The Married" Cast Members Next
You know you'll miss seeing them onscreen, so here are some of their shows that you might want to marathon next!
It's only been less than a week since The World of the Married (A World of Married Couple) concluded, and we know what many of its fans are probably feeling now: "empty." What's a weekend like without a fresh episode of TWOTM to keep you at the edge of your seat, gritting your teeth in anger or frustration, right?
If you've become such a fan of this K-Drama, then the natural progression for you is to either check out other infidelity series for the sake of comparison (although, seriously, do you really want to subject yourself to that kind of stress right away?) or watch the other shows the lead stars and even the supporting cast members appeared in.
That's a great start for those who have just begun their K-Drama journey. You establish some sort of guided pattern to help you navigate your way through this huge, huge world of Korean entertainment. Many K-Drama fans started building their "collection" that way—if they liked a Korean actor or actress in a certain series, they go through his or her filmography to see if there's anything they'll likely be interested in.
Check out the gallery below to read about the other K-Dramas of The World of the Married cast members:

Kim Hee-ae
This ageless actress, who played the lead role of Dr. Ji Sun-woo in “The World of the Married,” seems to be a favorite for K-Dramas with infidelity plots, whether she’s on the receiving end of sympathy or hate. Check out 2014’s “Secret Affair” and 2012’s “A Wife’s Credentials.”

Han So-hee
It seems a happy ending is not yet written for a Han So-hee small screen character. In 2019’s “Abyss,” she is the fiancée of the male lead character, but she mysteriously disappears before their wedding. Meanwhile, in 2018’s “100 Days My Prince,” her character is a crown princess who is married to the male lead character but ends up falling in love with and getting impregnated by one of her father’s hired killers.

You’d be amazed to find out that the son of Ji Sun-woo and Lee Tae-oh in TWOTM is just about to turn 14 years old, and yet he’s got close to 30 K-Dramas in his dossier already! This includes "The Tale of Nokdu" (as a young Kang Tae-oh), "Graceful Family," "Mr. Sunshine" (as a young Lee Byung-hun), "Grand Prince," "Black" (as a young Kim Jae-young), "Legend of the Blue Sea" (as a young Lee Min-ho), "Cinderella and the Four Knights" (as a young Ahn Jae-hyun), among others.

Chae Gook-hee
If in TWOTM, she is a gynecologist who later schools the hospital's head director on feminism and discrimination in the workplace, in 2015’s historical/romance/action series “More Than a Maid,” she portrays the role of a head maid at the Defense Minister’s household.

We got a bit of the second lead syndrome with his character neuropsychiatry specialist Dr. Kim Yoon-ki in “The World of the Married.” It’s quite different from his other K-Drama roles. He’s played a scientist in 2019’s “Melting Me Softly,” Presidential Office Administrator and acting press secretary in 2019’s “Designated Survivor: 60 Days,” a dental clinic director with a problematic marriage in 2019’s “One Spring Night,” and a lawyer in 2017’s “Prison Playbook.”

Kim Young-min
You have to see him in 2019’s “Crash Landing on You,” where he portrayed the role of a North Korean wiretapper. In 2019’s “Save Me 2,” his versatility as an actor was further showcased as he breathed life into the character of a pastor. These are very different from his role as a womanizer in TWOTM, but what is similar to this is his character in "Hide and Seek," a successor of a huge company who happens to be a playboy.

TWOTM’s Go Ye-rim badly wants to become a mother in the recently-concluded series, but fate has other plans for her. In the 2018 K-Drama “Marry Me Now,” she starred as the eldest daughter in a brood of four who later becomes the mother figure when their mother suddenly passes away. A far cry from her wifey role in TWOTM is her character as a princess in the historical drama series “Jang Yeong-sil.”

Lee Hak-joo
Among all the TWOTM actors, he's the only one with a new project (and he's one of the lead stars in it!): the 2020 rom-com "Sweet Munchies." It seems he will figure in a love triangle here. He also appeared in the 2018 series "Memories of the Alhambra" as a classic guitarist and an international student in Spain.

Jung Jae-sung
The head director at Family Love Hospital in TWOTM also plays a doctor, a chief neurosurgeon, in the 2020 series "Hospital Playlist." In the "Diary of a Prosecutor" (2019), he's the head of the prosecution office with 24 years of experience under his belt. He also appeared in recent K-Dramas like "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency," "Doctor John," "Beautiful World," and "Where Stars Land."
