Check Out Snaps From Dani Barretto And Xavi Panlilio's Idyllic Japan Honeymoon
Food, history, endless photo opportunities, the outdoors, and weather perfect for strolling hand in hand down hidden city streets and sprawling park avenues alike—there was nothing more that newlyweds Dani Barretto and Xavi Panlilio could have asked for on their Japan honeymoon!
Dani and Xavi tied the knot in an elegant ceremony held at the Santuario De San Antonio Parish on April 23. They've spent almost a month as husband and wife, and while they've still got a million and one things to look forward to in their journey of wedded bliss, their Japan honeymoon was definitely an experience they'll hold dear forever.
Looking back at her first official holiday as Mrs. Panlilio and what she loved best about it, Dani shares, "We went to the Osaka castle. Our hotel was right beside Dotonbori and we also went to Nara Park where we decided to have our SweetEscape shoot." To share even more of the magic behind their honeymoon, Dani reveals that booking a professional photographer was a great choice.
Considering that parks boasting of magnificent shades of green make up Dani's vision of some of the most beautiful places on the planet, it was the perfect venue for such a special shoot.
Their awesome photos, aside from being their best mementos from the trip, also serve as inspiration for other couples planning their own honeymoons.
According to Dani, for moments like these to be captured on camera, the crucial first step is to plan a honeymoon that you and your spouse will both enjoy.
"Go where you both will have fun. Talk to each other and ask each other where you want to go, what you want to do. Compromise from there. For me and Xavi, we both love to eat. And we both really love Japan, and the Yakiniku! That's why Japan was our first option," she tells Metro.Style.
Overall, her honeymoon was exactly the way Dani had pictured it: enjoying the things that she and Xavi love as a couple, and coming home to Manila with only the fondest memories.
