How to Help the Victims of Typhoon Odette
Here's a list of the platforms and organizations you can donate to, to help those affected by the super typhoon
The Philippines was hit by super typhoon Odette (Rai), the 15th typhoon and the strongest one to hit the country this year, as it made landfall on December 16. It barreled through parts of Visayas and Mindanao, leaving a lot of properties damaged and a death toll that continues to rise. Hardest-hit areas include Cebu, Bohol, Surigao, and Palawan.
Celebrities and personalities like Andi Eigenmann, Rachel Peters, and Katarina Rodriguez, who have come to call Siargao their home, have been using their platforms to raise awareness on the aftermath of Odette and directing their followers to platforms where they can send help.
Likewise, Cebu-based personalities Divine Lee, Kryz Uy, and Slater Young have shared their firsthand experiences of the typhoon despite unstable or intermittent internet connection, to shed light on the gravity of the situation in their areas.
