It takes more than just being stylish to run a fashion business, says Joanna Preysler-Francisco, owner of fashion stores Tint, Carbon, Eterno, Joanna Preysler Boutique, and Othello as well as Provenance Art Gallery. First off, you have to have a plan. It's also important, she says, to focus on the goal and look beyond yourself. Your customer, after all, may come from a completely different place and space as you. These are just some tips we received from this prolific businesswoman. We know she could run any business, fashion or otherwise.
