WATCH: Korina Sanchez-Roxas Recounts A Time When "Women Had To Look Like Men"
Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas—like many other women some decades ago—was expected to act, sound, or dress like a man to be credible and taken seriously. This was a phase in her life when she found herself conforming to the norm, a time when she would always dress up in suits. Later, she realized she wanted to embrace and be proud of her womanhood. So, she stepped out of the box (in her high heels!), put on her red lipstick, and conquered the world. In the process of showcasing a more confident and womanly sense of style, she helped redefine what a career woman should be, and for that, she remains an inspiration to this day.
