#MetroMostStylish2019: Bea Soriano-Dee

READ: EXCLUSIVE: Girl Boss Bea Soriano-Dee Changes The Retail Game While Balancing Family Life

Bea Soriano-Dee, co-founder of Sunnies Studios, reveals that she had always been “a kikay kid,” who couldn't wait to wear her mom's heels and would admire her covetable wardrobe. Her first introduction into the fashion world was through her equally stylish mom and the beauty magazines she voraciously consumed.

“At 12 years old, right after school, I would run straight to Robinsons Galleria from Poveda. All I did was window shop, of course, but I’d spend up to six hours just going around and sifting through each rack,” she recalls.

Growing up, she was inspired by the styles of pop icons Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera as well as the ladies of Charmed and Clueless. Now, Bea has discovered her own aesthetic, finding a good balance between the outfits that work for her roles as a girl boss and an "It" girl and those that suit her being a wife and a mother.

“When I see pieces—touch them, wear them, feel them—it always makes me feel good. For me, the function of fashion is to bring happiness.”
