"Style is a powerful way to convey who you are and what you stand for. Imagine, you can speak volumes without uttering a word," says Metro and Metro.Style editor-in-chief Geolette Esguerra in her short speech during the #MetroMostStylish2019 event last night.
"Metro Most Stylish" is an annual list that recognizes celebrities and personalities who, as pointed out by Geolette, "are consistently well-dressed and have been recognized for their personal achievements across disciplines." Celebrating how these women express themselves through fashion and manage to balance style and substance is what this campaign is all about.
Like the saying goes, "Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world." That's exactly the case with our Top 50 Most Stylish women—they carve their own path, they proudly showcase their individuality, and in the process, they get to conquer the world one impeccable outfit at a time.
The elegant table setting by Moss Manila Design House
The #MetroMostStylish2019 event, co-presented by Moët & Chandon, was held at Gallery by Chele in BGC. This modern restaurant, which prides itself in using local ingredients for their extensive offering of world-class food, is a collaboration between European chef Chele Gonzalez, Filipino chef Carlos Villaflor, and Filipino architect Carlo Calma. The stunning and cozy interiors of Gallery by Chele features warm wood textures complemented by statement furniture pieces by Kenneth Cobonpue; the organic setting served as the perfect backdrop for the glitzy yet elegant table setting, photo booth, and other decorative elements put together by Moss Manila Design House, as well as the gorgeous cocktail-chic outfits our Most Stylish ladies donned to celebrate the occasion.
