#MetroMostStylish2019: Pam Quiñones
Pam Quiñones, renowned stylist to stars like Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach, and Anne Curtis, is also the head of styling team Qurator Studio and fashion rental business Vestido.
Her love for fashion goes way back when she was just a young girl in Cotabato City. Pam shares, “Fashion, in a sense, became my form of escape, allowing me to disappear into the magazines and travel to exotic places. It was a fantasy and a fairytale that I wanted to live in.” Interestingly, it was also during her visit to Portugal as an exchange student, when she came across a mysterious lady in red who taught her what fashion is meant to be: magical, powerful, and not superficial.
As a fashion stylist by profession, she always makes it a point that the clothes she puts together for her clients would highlight their best features and "give them the most confidence." She believes her job can be instrumental and influential in helping others see the good in them. She says, "Fashion is in no way as superficial as others make it to be; it gives you power."
"Fashion and style is about understanding who you are, what you stand for and celebrating everything that you love about yourself and your body."
