2017 was full of memorable fashion statements for Heart. The politician’s wife turned heads when she donned two outfits during the State of the Nation Address—she wore a white below-the-knee Jo Rubio terno during the opening ceremony, and later changed into a Boom Sason pantsuit featuring Muslim prints as a tribute to Mindanao. Further showing her style expertise, she stunned the crowd in a black Mark Bumgarner creation at the Star Magic Ball. And let’s not forget Paris Fashion Week; Metro magazine Editor-in-Chief Geolette Esguerra cites Heart's pairing of torn jeans with an asymmetrical top as one of her biggest fashion moments. “As Mark Bumgarner’s muse, she has consistently proven that a small frame can do justice to his couture-like proportions.”
