Top 8 #MetroMostStylish2018: Tootsy Angara

ABS-CBN's Cluster Head for Sales Tootsy Angara is a busy lady. She always has her eyes on the prize and never fails to deliver, no doubt contributing to the continued success of her organization.

The career woman who is a family-first mom and wife often dons ultra-feminine outfits. Preferring flat shoes paired with shift dresses and silhouettes reminiscent of style icons like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly over sleek suits or pants, Tootsy always looks youthful. Her love of florals, bold patterns, animal-inspired prints, and girly details is well-documented. For Tootsy, it's all about what makes you feel most like the best version of yourself, rather than simply following current trends.

As an executive in an organization that values Filipino talent, Tootsy's fashion choices are not without a touch of Filipino artistry. Take the headlining outfit that Tootsy wore to the 2017 State of the Nation Address: the dainty off-white knee-length number was a Pitoy Moreno Filipiniana that she wore to her prom 27 years ago. The dress fit beautifully—no alterations needed.

On other occasions, her go-to local fashion designer is Rajo Laurel who once incorporated fabric from the Cordillera, a favorite of hers, and even indigenous materials from Benguet and Marawi, into her dresses. Of course, it helps that Tootsy has a goal-worthy frame; her petite figure brings out the best in every ensemble, whether casual or formal.
