Loving local is brought to a whole new level by Tootsy Angara, whose most prized fashion piece is not a jewelry set, a designer bag, or sky high stilettos, but a woven Cordillera terno made by Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel. She has mixed and matched the embroidered and beaded piece inspired by the region's culture with jeans, dresses, and skirts, allowing Filipino heritage to shine each and every time. Like Rajo and Tootsy, we should all do our part in giving special attention to our local fashion and artisans.
