Top 10 #MetroMostStylish2018: Joanna Preysler Francisco

It’s easy to admire Joanna Preysler Francisco’s style, because she has been on most stylish lists for over a decade. The founder of Tint, Carbon, Eterno, the Joanna Preysler boutique, Provenance Art Gallery, and Othello, along with husband Raul Francisco, is a busy working mother. Her children are mostly grown and Joanna is the ultimate mom that can be mistaken for their sister.

Joanna is an eclectic dresser. Inside the September 2017 issue of Metro Society magazine, she looked radiant in ball gowns. When she attends events, whether in a long black lace dress or a deconstructed white number, she always stands out—not least due to her bright smile. In her day-to-day life and on Instagram, you’ll often find Joanna in fashionable blouses paired with jeans and high heels. In white, black or blue (her go-to colors), her blonde Barbie-doll looks shine. She radiates confidence.

According to writer Katrina Stuart Santiago in Metro Society, “As a child, [Joanna] would watch, in fascination, her parents getting dressed to go to parties. She would be left behind to play with her mother’s makeup and accessories, something that made her decide to be a fashion designer as early as seventh grade. But it is her grandmother who was truly an inspiration for Francisco. ‘My grandmother Pacita had a fantastic sense of style. She’s a tiny woman, like 4’11. But she walked into a room like she was six feet tall–and her personality was six feet tall.’ Francisco smiles." Just like her grandmother, it’s Joanna’s winning personality that rounds out her total look.
