Joey Mead-King

Very few models could ever boast the same success as Joey Mead-King, best known for her stints at being a Channel [V] VJ and a host for the popular modeling show Asia’s Next Top Model. She was also a full-time professional model for print and runway. As wife to transgender icon Angelina Mead-King, Joey leads a pretty colorful public life, and treats her fashion with the same level of fun and color. Whether she’s out on the town—flaunting figure-hugging dresses and gowns for industry events—or baring her long legs in shorts and boots, Joey knows a thing or two about making a statement. She works her tall, sexy frame via signature skinny denims, a bombshell-worthy red dress as seen at the Ferrari 70th Anniversary Gala in Italy, or in a glamorous ball gown by Mark Bumgarner for the PMAP Ball. Joey perfectly embodies what it’s like to be a supermodel—which is to basically look good in everything.

Juana Manahan-Yupangco

Meet Juana Manahan-Yupangco, daughter of the famous Mr. M or Johnny Manahan with Star Magic, who has 12 years of publishing experience. She served as Contributing Editor to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, columnist to Cocoon magazine, and Editor-In-Chief of Baby magazineShe eventually became the Editor-In-Chief of her own website she covers everything from lifestyle to wellness to motherhood. This young mom of two finds fun in dressing by way of chic cocktail dresses for formal events, or simple yet striking separates for casual events. She wowed us at the Bantay Bata 163 Anniversary fashion show featuring Rocky Gathercole last year, where she wore that color-blocked MSGM number which was both feminine and edgy. Truly a statement to remember!

Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez

Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez can be considered one of the local fashion industry’s timeless beauties, and one of those women who never seems to look a day over 40. This former supermodel pursued a career in jewelry design and now has a brand called “TdLG”.  It features locally sourced materials such as kamagong, smoky quartz, and genuine leather. This mother of four knows that the key to a good outfit is a classy, flattering one. You’ll often see her donning pieces in black, comfortable yet stylish basics—or a striking and unexpected royal blue halter gown, such as the Randy Ortiz creation she gave justice to at the Red Charity Gala last year.

Charina Sarte

Feminine, sophisticated but also playful, Charina Sarte’s designs are practically a wardrobe staple for the local fashionistas. What began as Charina’s venture to customize her own perfect bikini has steadily evolved into a fashion brand, masterfully developed to cater to any girl’s fantasies, no matter her age. Given her label’s humble beginnings, it’s even more amazing to see Charina come so far as to design her own wedding dress, along with her bridal entourage’s dresses. Set against the old-world charm of Marrakech, Charina and her bridesmaids looked like a dream in their crisp white gowns. Perhaps a Charina Sarte bridal line is in the near future?

Mikaela Martinez

As stated on her website, juggling fashion, fun and motherhood is what Mikaela Martinez does best. As the mom of three, lifestyle blogger and VIP Services of Managet of Stores Specialists, Inc., Mikaela leads a busy lifestyle but always manages to look fresh and well put-together. The former commercial model injects her own personal stamp on the chic bohemian aesthetic she loves.

A post shared by VANIA ROMOFF (@vaniaromoff) on

Considered as one of the pioneer fashion bloggers in the country, Tricia Gosingtian has always been well-loved by the community for being both relatable and genuine. Her chic Japanese-inspired style landed her on Lookbook’s Top 10 fashion inspirations, making her the first Filipino to receive this recognition. Tricia has been an online influencer for over a decade, and her followers have witnessed her style evolution over the years. Last 2017, the Metro Weddings cover girl walked the aisle in a Vania Romoff masterpiece: an elegant, modest white dress. In the same year, she made a statement through her Instagram Stories, opening up about her skin condition, and encouraging women with the same condition to not let it bring them down. Tricia Gosingtian is not just a style influencer—she is an advocate of body positivity, and a powerful one at that.

Maxene Magalona-Mananquil

Showbiz royalty Maxene Magalona has proven to be a star in her own right, especially in the fashion scene. Her sophisticated sense of style complements her charming, girl-next-door personality, making her an easy favorite to many young fashionistas. This is why she has earned her badge as one of Zalora’s style stars. During the Star Magic Ball 2017, Maxene was one of the ladies who stood out on the red carpet in her gorgeous all-black ball gown by local designer Harvey Cenit. Maxene made a big fashion statement during her wedding, where she opted for a simple yet elegant Vera Wang gown, a choice lauded by admirers and fashion mavens alike.

Nicole Andersson

After shifting away from her teen actress days to earn a degree in International Marketing, Nicole Andersson reinvented herself as one of the top digital influencers from the Philippines. With her carefully curated outfits, and well-produced blog and YouTube channel, Nicole has amassed an international following dedicated to her style, makeup routine, and travel vlogs. Her tech savviness, coupled with her candid personality and fashion sense, has paved the way for her to cover fashion week in New York and Milan, as well as exclusive celebrity events. One of her fashion moments in 2017 was when she attended Anne Curtis and Erwan Heusaff’s wedding in New Zealand, where she donned a full lace creation by co-blogger, Camille Co.

Isabelle Daza-Semblat

A post shared by isabelledaza (@isabelledaza) on

Actress, model, host and ‘It’ girl Isabelle Daza-Semblat owned 2017 by being the epitome of "maternity chic". She broke the news of her pregnancy last September with an Instagram photo of three Sam Smith kicks, captioned “Three’s a crowd”. It was a classy way to announce her pregnancy. It’s no secret that Belle loves power dressing; her numerous outfit inspirations shared on social media is proof of that. And nothing, not even pregnancy, can stop her from making a fashion statement. Though she’s already on her third trimester, Belle continues to play along with trends--even opting to go with sensual, form-fitting dresses to go with her baby bump. Let it be known, in every phase of life, Belle is a fashionista through and through.
