Despite her familiar last name, Katrina Razon is a girl boss, who firmly stands on her own ground, and not in anyone’s shadow. In addition to her early involvement in Solaire’s establishment, Kats—as many have come to know her—has made a name for herself in the international electronic music scene. Initially having started spinning turntables as DJ Katsu, she has further founded her own venture capital operation, KSR Ventures. She is also the managing partner and creative director at Hong Kong and Manila-based music agency, Third Culture Music Ltd., and is a director of the Thailand-based sustainable music and wellness event, Wonderfruit Festival. On top of all of that, the LA-based, Manila-raised cool girl has established an enviable style that showcases her eclectic and vibrant life.

Karen Davila

Many know Karen Davila as the award-winning broadcast journalist who has interviewed people from politicians to celebrities to entrepreneurs. The dedicated mother and career-driven woman has proved that a busy lifestyle does not equate to an “anything goes,” relaxed approach to power dressing. Whether she is on or off-screen, Karen’s knack for telling the most hard-hitting stories is further highlighted with her chic signature style, a mixture of luxe international brands and local fashion finds, that melds practical and fashionable—a look that all multi-hyphenate women can all aspire to.

Ina Calalang Ayala

She may be popularly known as the equestrienne who competed in the 28th Southeast Asian Games in 2015, but Ina Calalang Ayala has more accomplishments up her sleeve. She is an artist, shoe and accessory designer, and a dedicated mother. Over the past few years, Ina has also harnessed a reputation for being a refined tastemaker, flexing her style to suit her many passions. In one moment, standing proudly next to her horse, she opted for an uptown sporty look, and in the next, she is in a glamorous gown posing for the camera for an editorial—all the while maintaining that classic elegance. It’s no wonder she has graced the covers of many reputable magazines, like Metro Society

Joanna Lhuillier

With a name that’s synonymous to Hollywood glamour, Cebu-based accessory and bag designer Joanna Lhuillier has become quite popular with the local fashion set. Her handcrafted bags have their own iconography, mixing in local beadwork and embroidery with international designs—a lustworthy combination for the avid fashion buyer. Having travelled all over the world and established her brand locally and internationally, while also dedicating herself to her family, Joanna is able to define what a modern career woman is: busy yet beautiful, successful yet thoughtful, and always looking to the horizon for the next achievement to make.

Rissa Mananquil-Trillo

Model turned businesswoman Rissa Mananquil-Trillo is the dynamic co-founder of the Philippines’ first line of complete skin-caring cosmetics, Happy Skin. Fully dedicated to her business, this full-time mom who's always on the go has partnered with local and international brands to give Happy Skin a roster of smash hits, including tie-ups with Disney and Sanrio, as well as collaborations with sought-after makeup artists Juan Sarte, Denise Go-Ochoa, Mickey See, and Jigs Mayuga. When it comes to her style sensibilities, the former Professional Models Association of the Philippines president has turned heads with her feminine ensembles that are a reflection of her love for all things girly: an interesting layer that contrasts with, and at the same time, complements the strong woman that lies within.

Tessa Mendoza Daza

Having made a name as a model from her work with Anne Klein, Tessa Mendoza Daza now devotes her time to her passion for creativity, and for design as a painter. This self-taught artist’s story of style began with a journey of self-discovery that unraveled in San Francisco, continued in North Vancouver, Canada, and ended in Manila. After cementing her reputation as an art authority by becoming a member of Société des Artistes Canadiens and the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, what she discovered in that time became her life’s anchor: she is a painter, and she believes with all her heart that this is what she was meant to do. Now sure of her mission, Tessa’s take on fashion is as full of conviction and vibrance as her paintings that are bursting with symbolism and passion.

Salome Uy

Salome Uy may look like lady of leisure, but this cum laude graduate, business owner, and practicing certified public accountant has more aces up her sleeve than she lets on. Her ability to juggle responsibilities, advocacies, and socials is impeccable, but despite how busy she can get and how full her schedule can become, family always comes first—zero compromises. When it comes to dressing to impress, Salome affords the same dedication and meticulousness to her ensembles, stealing the scene with numbers designed by her friends in fashion like Rhett Eala, Rajo Laurel, Jun Escario, and Eric delos Santos.

Zelda Kienle

Timeless beauty Zelda Kienle is in the business of extending her elegant style into the design of her surroundings. As the president of furniture company, Philux, and the matriarch of the Swiss-Filipino family behind the brand, it is no doubt that her two stylish daughters, Stephanie and Jessica, have inherited their mom’s taste. Her home is just as covetable as her fresh yet sophisticated wardrobe. She believes that style in all its forms is one way to communicate who you are to the rest of the world—a powerful tool for self-expression.

Sam Richelle

A post shared by Samantha (@samrichelle) on

Tattoos, a killer style, a smoking hot bod, a flawless face made for glossy pages, this hot young mom is unstoppable. Having studied fashion in New York and LA, Sam Richelle recently pursued a career in fashion with her eponymous line of tailored streetwear clothing. Like her ultra-modern urban style, injected with feminine flair, she may appear like a tough girl on the surface, but her undeniable commitment to her family is what anchors her being. Unafraid of extending the boundaries beyond classic beauty, she does not let her clothes wear her, but owns her bold style—like a modern and edgy take on old Hollywood glamour.

Florence-based Mai Mai Cojuangco is every inch the modern Filipina woman with the international edge. The 90s It-girl turned entrepreneur power mom, founded the startup, Sympies, “a social messaging app where users, through iconography, select emotional sentiments or events,” but is nevertheless no stranger to fashion—let alone, Philippine fashion. In addition to being one of the faces, alongside her sisters, of Filipino retail brand, Kamiseta, Mai Mai, who studied bag and accessories design in Florence, has since delved into creating her own bag line, Demetria, in collaboration with local brand, Idée. If her line of Tuscan leather handbags is any indication, when it comes to elegant style, it comes effortlessly to Mai Mai.
