Top 9 #MetroMostStylish2018: Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez

As the Vice President and COO of Philux—the family-owned business that offers luxuriously-finished furniture—Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez is geared towards interior design, but its connection to fashion is something she can’t deny. “Spending time in fashion is fun. I don’t associate it with what I do in my day-to-day life; it’s not a career I wanted to pursue,” Steph shares. “But my career is actually kind of parallel to that. More and more, you see how they are intertwined. I love that.”

Stephanie took up economics at Sarah Lawrence College in New York, Sciences Politiques at Institut des Sciences Politiques in Paris, and marketing at the London School of Economics. She has professional experience in both interior design and fashion management; she worked in organizations such as the architecture and design firm Pierce Allen and the fashion label Marchesa.

Her Instagram feed is a trove of design finds. She even started her own hashtag for it: #stephkienleinteriorinspirations. But once in a while, she posts photos of her daughters Andrea and Arielle and her stylish OOTDs in events and travels abroad.

Steph prefers classic outfits with hints of femininity and a bit of edge. In 2017, for Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s New Zealand wedding, she wore a floral dress with a statement-making fringed accent. For her friend Daniele Perez’s wedding in France, she was one of the bridesmaids, and wore a dove-gray off-shoulder gown with a ruffled skirt by Rajo Laurel.
