These Are The Actors Who Will Portray Prince Harry And Meghan Markle In An Upcoming Movie

The engaged royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s whirlwind love story is officially getting the Hollywood treatment with a Lifetime movie, set to air this Spring. The American cable channel has cast Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley to play their roles.

Both actors are relative newcomers. Murray recently starred in the royal series Victoria, and also took on the role of PC Jason Denny in the British mini-series The Loch last year. Meanwhile, Parisa is an American-Jamaican actress best known for her role as Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage on Netflix, and as Fiji Cavanaugh on Midnight, Texas.

The production of the movie is scheduled to begin later this week in Vancouver and Los Angeles. The planned air date is May 18, a day before the actual wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. It is directed by Menhaj Huda whose filmography include directorial The Royals, Coronation Street, and Emmerdale.

In 2011, Lifetime also featured the love story of Prince Harry’s older brother, Prince William of Wales, and his wife Kate Middleton. The film, titled William & Kate: The Movie, aired just 11 days before their wedding.
