This Pre-Nup Shoot Is Korean-Style Minimalism At Its Finest

Celebrity makeup artist Anthea Bueno and photographer Kenneth Tangonan are creatives whose individual portfolios include wedding-related projects. She’s a go-to for bridal makeup, while he’s a skilled lensman with editorials that include wedding themes. 

When it came to their own pre-nup shoot, the laid-back personalities of the two were combined in a pictorial that’s inspired by Korean minimalism. And we love how the whole set is clean, cool, and chic. Each and every layout highlights the subjects and elevates them through sparse yet thoughtfully curated and arranged elements.

Turning Anthea and Kenneth’s vision to stunning photographs they will cherish forever is a dream team: photographer BJ Pascual, makeup artist Jelly Eugenio (who’s also doing her makeup for her wedding day), hairstylist Paul Nebres, fashion stylists Danae Vernisse Dipon and Justine Benitez, and set designer Justine Arcega Bumanlag. The videography for the shoot, which was done at Lucas Studios, was by Ayo Rin and Studio King.

Prior to releasing her pre-nup photos, Anthea was surprised by her friends with a summer-day-in-Italy-themed bridal shower in La Spezia MNL that was organized by Anthea’s Man of Honor, Justine Navato. The visually delightful, intimate affair was also attended by BJ Pascual and Anthea’s celebrity muses Janine Gutierrez, Leila Alcasid, and Chie Filomeno, who are also all present at the Bueno-Tangonan nuptials that took place today in San Agustin Church in Manila.
