ArteFino 2018: All That Glitters' Amanda LuYm Is Passionate About Creating Jewels That Shine But Never Outshine The Wearer

"Jewelry is the most transformative thing you can wear," says fashion icon Iris Apfel. We cannot agree more. There is no denying the power of jewels to add more character and a personal touch to one's look.
Knowing the value of these outfit accents and seeing the potential of growing a business with them, Amanda LuYm and her cousin Cacay Moras-Server decided to tap into the possibilities of a collaborative project between them. The result is All That Glitters, which as the famous quote from William Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice" goes, well, all that glitters is definitely not just gold.

"All That Glitters began as a company with the idea of doing demi fine jewelry. So we take in fine silver and we plate it in 24k - pink, yellow, or white," Amanda tells Metro.Style. "We really started with the idea, with the lives people live now, where things have to change quickly and travel a lot, and you can't get too precious with things and yet you still want things to look a certain way and be made a certain way."
All That Glitters uses sterling silver (925) settings and then vermeil in 24k gold or rhodium with precious and semi-precious colored gemstones.
A self-confessed science fiction comic book geek, Amanda shares that the inspirations of their designs sometimes stem from it. Do not be surprised if you see pieces that look like they're straight out of something like Black Panther. And one more thing that will completely amaze a discerning shopper is that their meticulously crafted products are proudly made in the Philippines.
A constantly emerging, ever-evolving jewelry brand, All That Glitters is committed to creating pieces that shine on but never outshine the wearer.
And as the organizers behind the ArteFino fair, which All That Glitters will be part of this August 30 to September 2 in 8 Rockwell, says, "All That Glitters' pieces eliminate the limits on when and where a woman can look and feel gorgeous with jewelry, living her ability to mark a special moment or make any moment special."
