This year, Atasha Muhlach was chosen to represent the Philippines in an acclaimed function at Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, France on November 26. The affair, Le Bal des Débutantes a.k.a. Le Bal, is a by-invitation ball that brings together between 20 and 25 debutantes aged 16 to 22 across different countries. The slim number of select young ladies this year counts Atasha in, who is attending college in the United Kingdom.

Created by Ophélie Renouard, the charity event is where the world’s elites convene to honor womanhood, youth, and women. The high-profile personalities who are scouted for the social gathering have a global appeal, and are acknowledged for a certain criteria.

It was an absolute joy for her parents Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez to accompany her in a prestigious party. On his Instagram, Aga posted a series of snapshots featuring his family. “No words, just happy,” the award-winning actor says. Atasha’s twin sibling Andres Muhlach was also in attendance at the event to escort her.

Prominent ladies who are part of first-class families or simply daughters with upper-echelon upbringing are selected as debutantes to grace the gala with their finest couture. Atasha, in this case, flaunted a Sabina Bilenko gown, complemented by V Muse jewelry.

Meanwhile, Filipina sophisticate and fashion icon Heart Evangelista was also among the influential guests who graced the monumental evening. On Instagram, the actress expressed her admiration of Atasha. “Pinoy pride at the Le Bal des Débutantes 2022. So proud of this young woman for representing the country tonight. Congratulations to the proud parents.”

Atasha is not the first Filipina to be named as an official representative to Le Bal. Other well-received women from the Philippines have already participated in the renowned meeting. The roster of influential figures include Dominique Cojuangco, Emily Madrigal, Kayla Uytengsu, Monica Concepcion, Monica Urquijo Zobel, Natalia Zobel, and Paloma Urquijo Zobel de Ayala.
