Baby On The Way! Cristalle Belo And Justin Pitt Make A Big Announcement On the Cover Of Metro Society
Family and close friendships are two things one simply cannot live without. This March, celebrate them with Metro Society’s Generations issue which doubles as a celebration of all that is woman.
Gracing the cover of this anticipated issue are Justin and Cristalle Pitt, who have a special announcement to make: they are expecting!
After four years of being blissfully and wonderfully in love, the couple cannot wait to embark on the new chapter in their love and in their lives: parenthood.
In an exclusive cover story for Metro Society, Cristalle shares that with their relationship, “everything just felt so right and fell into place,” while Justin sheepishly tells the magazine about the moment he realized she was The One. “I was thinking about my life without her and compared to what life was like with her in it… It wasn’t a hard decision and in my mind, it became clear, that I’d be lucky to have her as my wife for the rest of my days. She makes me happy, she is inspiring, she’s sweet, all the beautiful qualities you’d want.”
With the abundance of love in Cristalle and Justin’s marriage, one cannot contest that this is the perfect time to expand their family. In the cover story, read as the couple shares what it was really like, no-holds-barred, going into their pregnancy, as well as the dreams they already are dreaming for their little one on the way.
Following the cover story are heartwarming stories of friendship and sisterhood. First, sit with the gorgeous ladies who lunch at Ana de Ocampo’s birthday get-together at the new Little Flour in the Entertaining with Flair section. A sisterhood brought together by great conversation and purely fun times: Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, Christina Gonzalez-Romualdez, Michelle Yap-Tiangco, Karen Davila-Sta. Ana, Small Eduardo-Laude, Kaye Chua-Tinga, Audrey Tan-Zubiri, Alice Eduardo, Melba Eduardo-Solidum, and Mia Vasquez-Borromeo.
Then, go over to Edsa Shangri-La’s The Chi Spa, and on an adventure with the cheery group of friends of Linda Ley, who share their secret to traveling together for long periods of time while keeping their friendship stronger than ever. With a sisterhood that spans more than 35 years, there is most certainly something to learn and read about friendship from this group: Suzette Hahn Lopez, Maritess Cabangon, Ruth Hahn Rodriguez, Mia Reyes, and Rachel de Guzman.
Afterwards, visit the sleek Furnitalia showroom where a particularly stylish group of women who embody modern-day motherhood gathered. Being a mother is undoubtedly an immensely rewarding experience but it doesn’t come without its challenges and trials, truly making it possibly the world’s most demanding job.
This month, learn a thing or two from these mothers: Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi, Georgia Schulze-del Rosario, Nicole Hernandez, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Cat Arambulo-Antonio, Jackie Tong-Go, and Shari Macainag.
Finally, draw inspiration and look to the featured artists in the Philippine Art Awards, now commemorating its 28th year with an exhibition devoted to its winning women artists: Ivi Avellana Cosio, Joy Mallari, Nona Garcia, Ambi Abano, Marina Cruz, and Abi Dionisio. Get to know art curator Bambina Jacinto as well as she shares the beauty of the Filipino culture through paintings and art in the Arts and Culture section.
Also in this issue are gorgeous fashion editorials featuring Michael Cinco’s Couturissimo and the Signet store, the latter of which just opened its Power Plant Mall branch at the start of the year.
