Cat Arambulo-Antonio Is The First Filipino Judge On "The Apartment," The Biggest Interior Design Reality Show In Asia

“It all basically lies in the little details, that is what I love about interior design. The details is what makes the space come alive and brings out the person’s character and being,” says Cat Arambulo-Antonio. My metabolism isn’t as fast as it was before. For the past two weeks: I’ve been working out 2-3x/week. I eat 3 controlled meals a day. Breakfast, dimsum or smoked salmon. Lunch, holy kaler smoothie from @aiveecafe and/or steamed chicken, no carbs. Dinner, hainanese chicken with cucumber, hoisin sauce. No carbs. After all that effort, I’m still 108 lbs today, NO CLOTHES. Last weigh in was 108.46 lbs on Jan 5, 2018, WITH CLOTHES (check my highlights). Grrrr!!! . My goal: I want to go back to my usual “ideal” weight of 95-100 lbs + lean, toned and nothing jiggling. Remember, I’m only 5‘ flat!!! . My solution: I need to jumpstart my weight loss by getting all the help from @theaiveeclinic as soon as I get back from my trip! . I’ll be documenting my transformation and road to being fit, healthy and SOON seeexy here. Haha! . And as much as I’d like to say I’m embracing my body... puñyeta, I can’t. I won’t. NO EXCUSES. See you again soon, size 0!?? . . . . . #CatArambuloFitness #CatArambuloOOTD #Lagree #Aiveeleague @elev8studioph

When she’s not filming the show with the team, she is designing her own house. “Basically I do my interiors the way I would dress up. So it’s like fashion. I like very modern but at the same time I like having an art deco twist so I’m a big fan of brass and metallics. I like to accessorize with big statement pieces so I like chunky jewelries, so when it comes to interior design, I also like putting talking pieces, exotic pieces in the sense that when you enter the room and you see it, you are blown away,” she says. Her favorite furniture piece in the house is her red Tulip armchair by Marcel Wanders, which is an eye-catcher with its tall sculptural shape.

“This season has the best well designed rooms that they ever had during the whole time of The Apartment,” she says. “I also love all the cast. More than designers, they are people with passion. They took the extra mile in designing the rooms. They were able to show character, personality, and I feel that it all blended well together. It’s really amazing.”
