In Photos: DJ Chacha And Mike Guevara's Fairy Tale-Like Wedding In Tagaytay
Finally, the host, radio DJ, best-selling author, and love & relationship adviser got her happily ever after.
Czarina Marie Balba (popularly known as MOR 101.9's DJ Chacha) got married to businessman Michael Guevara in a fairy tale-like ceremony held last May 30 at Fernwood Gardens in Tagaytay.
"We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day to celebrate our new lives together. We feel so blessed by every single person who was able to share it with us and those who have supported us from the start. I can’t thank you all enough. Thank you for making our wedding day so special," DJ Chacha said on Instagram.
DJ Chacha and Mike were in a relationship for about six years before getting engaged in August of last year during her birthday vacation in Bangkok, Thailand.
Like a lot of relationships, theirs went through a complicated phase. For a moment, Mike had hesitations about dating DJ Chacha because she's a single mom. But whatever doubts he had were overshadowed by the unconditional love he had developed for her. Together, the couple worked out their trust issues and found ways to go about the deal-breakers they were faced with.
Without forcing anything and allowing things to flow naturally, Saab, DJ Chacha's daughter from a previous relationship, eventually got used to having Mike in their lives, so much so it felt right for her to call him "Daddy Mike."
"Mahirap makahanap [ng lalake] na hindi lang ikaw 'yung mamahalin, pati ang anak mo," DJ Chacha said in an interview on Magandang Buhay.

With the full support of her family and, more importantly, her daughter, there was no reason for DJ Chacha to turn her back on the promise of forever. She deserves a man who will love her at her best and stay with her even at her worst. Mike is that man for her; he made the pain of the past disappear so she could move forward and give love a second chance. For those who have lost faith in second chances, let this love story be a reminder that two people—no matter how difficult it had been to find each other—can be together forever.
And so, when it came to their wedding day, there was no hashtag more apt than #MikeForeverKayCha. The mark of the next level and new chapter of a years-long relationship deserved to be celebrated with a lavish event that symbolizes a dream come true.
For her wedding vow, DJ Chacha said, "You are God's living proof of how much He loves me. I don't know how to thank God enough for you, because I know you came into my life with a purpose. Hindi ka lang niya ibinigay sa'kin kasi gusto n'ya akong maging masaya. He gave you to me para samahan mo akong alagaan at mahalin ang anak ko, and thank you for loving her like your own."
In front of the altar and everyone who are dear to them, Mike also promised DJ Chacha that she will never be alone again. "Simula sa araw na ito, hindi na mag-iisa ang reyna dahil susubukan ko na maging karapat-dapat na prince charming sa sarili nating fairy tale na may happy ending," he said.

DJ Chacha and Mike's wedding was graced by her bosses and colleagues in the local entertainment industry. Their principal sponsors included Charo Santos-Concio, Malou Santos, Karla Estrada, Helen Gamboa, Jennifer Sevilla, Noli de Castro, Ted Failon, Tito Sotto, Roxy Liquigan, and Kim Atienza. Her bridal entourage, meanwhile, included her fellow Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 alums Elisse Joson and Jinri Park. Robi Domingo and Eric Nicolas were the event's hosts. Other personalities who graced the event were Badji Mortiz, DJ Jhai Ho, and Ahwel Paz.
This modern fairy tale-like wedding had guests wearing all-black ensembles that made the radiant bride stand out more in her white voluminous off-shoulder gown. Beside her was her dashing groom garbed in a three-piece blush suit. Both of their outfits are by Manny Halasan. For the indoor garden reception, which was also held in Fernwood Gardens, DJ Chacha changed into an intricate, form-fitting, off-shoulder gown by the same designer.

As guests surrounded the couple, with sparklers in hand, DJ Chacha and Mike were a picture of sheer happiness, radiating bliss at all angles. Their road to forever was not an easy one to take, but it was worth all the sacrifices. Their fairy tale dreams had now become their reality and, soon, they will make more of their dreams come true—together, hands holding each other's, hearts intertwined. "You're not my first, but I promise you, you will be my last," she told him.
