A Filipina Will Represent Belgium At The Next Miss Universe Pageant!

It seems like there will be more than one Filipina competing in next year’s Miss Universe pageant.

Angeline Flor Pua, a Filipino pilot student in Antwerp, was recently crowned Miss Belgium at the Plopsaland Theater in De Panne last January 13, beating 29 other contestants and making her one of the few Asian women to ever win a European beauty pageant. 

 According to Missosology, she will be given the honor to compete for two highly coveted crowns: Miss Universe 2018 and Miss World 2018. 

 

At an African background stage theme & American music, an Asian origin beauty won the European beauty contest Miss Belgium 2018. . Angeline Flor Pua won the title of Miss Belgium 2018, with Zoé Brunet from Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, 17 years old, as the first runner up while Dhenia Covens from Vremde, 24 years old, as the 2nd runner up. The 22-year-old beauty was born in Antwerp to a Chinese father & a Filipina mother. She is a part time model and a 3rd year student at the aviation academy where she is planning to become an airline pilot. Angelina likes traveling, sports, baking and of course flying. Another passion is her dog, Bobby the Pug. . Angeline will represent Belgium at Miss World 2018, but still unclear who will represent Belgium at Miss Universe. Angeline is certainly willing to do both. Landing the title Miss Belgium isn’t a first for the 22-year-old. in fact, she has won two other international pageants in previous years. In 2016, she was crowned as Miss Filipina Europe in Vienna, Austria, and in 2017, she took home the title Miss Antwerp.
