Giorgia Guidicelli Is Having A Baby Girl!
The first-time mom shared the good news in an intimate at-home gender reveal party
The newest addition to the Guidicelli brood is going to be a baby girl!
Giorgia Guidicelli, who married her long-time love Ian Dato in February, announced the good news via a series of photos shared on Instagram on July 2.
Opting to keep her gender reveal party low-key and for family only, this first-time mom invited only a select few to join her on the special day including her brother Matteo Guidicelli and sister-in-law Sarah Geronimo, as well as her cousin, Mia Arcenas, who brought her baby with her.
Giorgia and Ian announced that they were expecting a child in April.
In their gathering at home, the parents-to-be opted for a simple setup with pink and blue balloon pillars, gold letters spelling out "Baby Dato" as the backdrop, and a stork piñata. The highlight was definitely their five-layer cake (surrounded by matching frosted cupcakes baked by Sarah!) with a hollow inside that was filled with pink sprinkles.
After slicing the cake open, guests were treated to the lovely news.

Giorgia joins the growing list of moms who have pushed through with celebrating family milestones amidst the pandemic.
Despite the tight restrictions placed on gatherings, moms like Giorgia have found ways and means to bring special occasions like this to life; Dianne Medina, for instance, had her gender reveal party over Zoom, while Coleen Garcia, Ellen Adarna, and Mariel Padilla all called on the services of home-based party planners to spruce up their living spaces for pregnancy reveals and parties for their kids.
With the will of a mother, nothing is impossible!
Giorgia also shared additional looks at the quiet day with family at home, proving even more that big days like this need not be glamorous to hold meaning and be memorable for years to come.
Congratulations to the mommy in the making!
