Tim Yap Celebrates First Birthday As A Married Man

Tim Yap celebrated his first birthday as a married man last night at the Harlan+Holden Dine. The first of 2 birthday celebrations was an intimate gathering, punctuated by the fabulous feel of the Rockwell Glasshouse. There were only about 50 guests in attendance, but the room was filled with so much love and happiness for the birthday boy that the energy could've been radiating from a thousand. 

Decked out in a well-tailored suit with fringe details in the sleeves, Tim looked dashing as always as he personally greeted each and every guest in the dinner party.

Early birds included Vicky Zubiri, Jennie Epperson, Patricia Panlilio and Maurice Arache. The table beside this lively bunch included Metro Group and Metro.Style Head Chris Lopez, Channel Head of Lifestyle Lala Ventura, Bobby Yan and Warren Sy. Other guests were Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Carol Garcia, Rima Otswani with husband Jay Najjar, Malou Gamboa with husband Ramon Lindo, Rajo Laurel, Nix Alanon, Turkish Airlines General Manager of Operations Erhan Balaban, Anton San Diego, Mark Bautista, Bianca Elizalde, Joey Mead, Mons Romulo, Dr. Wine's Vincent and Eva Landais, Vicki Belo and more.

The highlight of the evening was when Tim delivered a speech thanking everyone for coming which lead to the crowd clamoring for Tim's husband, event director Javi Martinez, to join him. The guests requested the newlyweds to kiss and the two complied to the delight of the guests.

Guests were treated to an appetizer of root crop chips, followed by a light salad, 2 types of pasta--bottarga and bolognese--as well as the mains, home-made corned beef rice bowl and poké bowl . In between bites of the delectable food, free-flowing champagne and wine were served. And of course a party isn't a party without cake! A dessert sampler that consisted of tiramisu, New York cheesecake, and chocolate chip walnut cookie, was served to top the evening.

Tim made sure to sit with everyone at the party. It was his night but Tim Yap went out of his way to ake each guest feel special. Happy birthday, Tim!
