Is Re-Wearing A Party Dress A No-No? Bea Soriano, Jess Wilson, And Georgina Wilson Think It's Totally Fine!

The lives of celebrities, models, and society personalities look so glamorous. They can afford to buy designer goods, and have covetable wardrobes. One would probably think they won't ever be caught dead wearing the same thing, more so now when almost every event in their lives is documented on social media. While some A-listers seem to have that mindset (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!), others are far more practical.

Wearing the same outfit to an occasion or event more than once is not necessarily a fashion don’t, even the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is guilty of that!

Last weekend, netizens had a case of dejavu as model/entrepreneur Bea Soriano-Dee wore Jess Wilson’s gown, the one she wore for Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff's wedding in New Zealand last November. This wine-colored velvet dress that featured a plunging neckline and a train is a creation by Boom Sason.

Speaking of Jess, it can also be remembered that for Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho’s wedding in Paris, her sister Georgina Wilson wore a Marchesa Spring 2016 piece; it was supposed to be her wedding gown but Jess ended up wearing it to Georgina’s wedding.

Georgina later found a reason and a special occasion to wear this gown to. “In my wedding gown option for the grandest wedding of the year,” Georgina captions her post on Instagram.

So, yes, as these perennial "It" girls show, wearing the same thing more than once (or, in their case, wearing an outfit your sister or friend already wore, to be exact) isn't a fashion faux pas. If anything, kudos to them for showing their practical fashionista side. They are confident that they can give the same outfit their own personal twist, and are not afraid of comparisons. Really, isn't that what a true stylista is about?!
