Karen Gallman And Ian Garton Are Parents-To-Be!

In a cute and scenic Instagram video, beauty queen and Metro.Style cover girl Karen Gallman revealed that she and her husband Ian Garton are expecting to welcome their first child on January 2021. Karen—the first Filipina to win the Miss Intercontinental title in the pageant's 47-year history back in 2018—is already 20 weeks pregnant. 

In her pregnancy reveal, the couple is seen with their backs turned to the camera, walking by the seashore hand in hand. The radiant mom-to-be is wearing a sexy white crochet long-sleeved mini dress, complementing his beige and white ensemble. They're smiling and looking at each other with so much love. Then she slowly turns to the face the camera—and, surprise!—she can't stop caressing her growing baby bump. Ah, notice that maternity glow!

Her friends and fellow beauty queens were quick to congratulate Karen and Ian—Eva Patalinjug, Michele Gumabao, Laura Lehmann, Jehza Huelar, Rachel Peters, Vim Rushton, Valerie Weigmann all sent well wishes to the happy couple.

The two got engaged in June 2018, but had to put off their wedding preparations so she could focus on the Miss Intercontinental pageant held in the Philippines on January 2019. Finally, last March, Karen and Ian got married in New Zealand (read about that beautiful and intimate destination wedding here).

The couple is currently based in Brisbane, Australia.
