Look! BNT Production's Metro 30th Anniversary "Icons" Cover Remake Is The Funniest Thing You'll See Today!
The Metro cover girls have met their matches!
"Happy 30th anniversary Metro Magazine," wrote Internet sensation and two-time author Lloyd Cadena on Facebook.
Without the image accompanying the caption, the post certainly wouldn't have racked up 58,000 reactions, 1,600 comments, and 2,300 shares in just a couple of days, but the comedian has blessed us all with one of the most hilarious photos we've seen all year: his very own remake, shall we say, of the Metro 30 Icons cover.
Originally featuring celebrities KC Concepcion, Solenn Heussaff, Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, Toni Gonzaga, Heart Evangelista, Erich Gonzales, Angelica Panganiban, Maricar Reyes-Poon, and Bea Alonzo on the cover, the entire thing was revamped by the comedian with each girl meeting their match in one of Lloyd's friends and fellow digital influencers at BNT (Bakla ng Taon) Production; BNT has a huge following online, with 1.13M subscribers on YouTube and 204,000+ followers on Facebook, as of this writing.

Lloyd wasn't the first to remake an iconic Metro cover.
In 2017, as Star Magic celebrated its 25th anniversary, Metro released a 12-cover girl gatefold feature that put together Julia Barretto, Liza Soberano, Kathryn Bernardo, Janella Salvador, Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio, Sofia Andres, Sue Ramirez, Alexa Ilacad, Kira Balinger, Ylona Garcia, and Andrea Brillantes; groups of friends, families, bridesmaids, office mates and more competed for who could come up with the best remake.
A hashtag for it was even born: #metroposechallenge
