Their Goodbye In Photos: Scenes From Harry And Meghan's Emotional Exit From Royal Life
It's a done deal! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now officially just Harry and Meghanโand they couldn't have looked happier about it
The couple previously nicknamed the world's "modern royals" has officially wrapped up the last of their public appearances and engagements as part of their Farewell Tour that concluded last week, and by March 31, will fully relinquish their roles as senior members of the British royal family.
The official announcement stating Meghan and Harry's wishes to live more independently and privately came in early January via an Instagram post on the Sussex's Instagram account, and just two months later, are closer than ever to realizing this dream.
They've kept much of their future plans a secret from the public, revealing only that they will focus their efforts on continuing their charitable work through a new non-profit organization that addresses youth-related advocacies, mental health, and Commonwealth concerns.
It's a truly tumultuous time for royalists as a "resignation" like this has never actually happened in the entirety of British royal history, and the most that Meghan and Harry's loyal supporters could do was to cheer them on as they made their way through the crowds as royals for the very last time in each of the events they participated in.
People were emotional as one might imagine, thanks to the many memories Harry and Meghan will leave with those who loved them most from exactly one year, nine months, and 19 days they served the people as members of the royal family.
Below is a collection of some of the scenes from their Farewell Tour that included The Annual Endeavour Fund Awards, The Mountbatten Festival of Music, International Women's Day activities, and Commonwealth Day.

Harry and Meghan will reportedly be shuffling between the UK and Canada in this new phase of their life.
More so, they were granted a "12-month trial period" to transition from royal life to the more regular life they desire, and possibly to allow them to sort through other matters such as how they'll generate their income, the jobs they could take on, and the overall scope and limitations of their new identities.
If, after the trial period, Meghan and Harry decide to return to royal life, the Queen herself has said that she would welcome them back.
