The awards recognize wounded and injured servicemen and women who have taken up the monumental task of making athletic and sporting achievements.

Many were quick to point out how Meghan looked happier than usual, ready to smile at onlookers and warmly greeting those around her. The rainy background added the perfect spritz of romance to their photos.

The event was held on March 6 and was the first on their itinerary of farewell activities.

Next up for them was the Mountbatten Festival of Music.

Wearing a red caped dress, Meghan matched Harry perfectly as he donned his red military uniform as a Prince for one last time.

The Mountbatten Music festival is also a charitable event where proceeds benefit The Royal Marines Society.

And then came a surprise from Meghan on International Women's Day on March 8.

She visited the Robert Clack school in Dagenham where she was warmly welcomed by students, some of whom were overwhelmed at meeting her for the first time.

There, she interacted with pupils and teachers and spoke to them about the women who inspired them most.

She also delivered a speech about how some of the women of the school's town participated in a historic event that allowed the passing of the bill granting equal pay for women in the country. Geraldine Dear, one of the women who was part of the movement—a factory strike that pushed lawmakers to address the pay discrepancy—was also present the event to meet with Meghan.

Their fourth appearance during the tour was for Commonwealth Day.

The day is actually a celebration of the relationships forged between Britain and Commonwealth nations (countries and territories once part of the British empire). The formal occasion marked the first time Meghan and the Queen attended an event together since she and Harry announced that they were stepping down from royal duties in January.

It was also the last time they were photographed with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate as fellow royals.

Naturally, many were quick to comment on the elegance of Meghan's outfit. The emerald ensemble with a matching fascinator was one of a kind, and a lovely way to end her run as a Duchess.

The couple may have one last item on their list to end their Farwell Tour: the Invictus Games, a multi-sport event where injured military veterans participate in friendly competitions. The Games were launched by Harry himself and often had his brother William guest in its opening ceremonies.
