Highlights: Miss Universe Philippines 2024 - The Coronation

Here's how the coronation night is unfolding

Miss Universe Philippines 2024's Coronation night is finally here! Who will Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee crown as her successor?

That's what we will find out as the Coronation unfolds tonight at the Mall of Asia Arena. And here's a twist that the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization announced: for the first time, they will be doing a live real-time voting via their app.

MUPH shared on social media, "You can be the 11th judge! Fans everywhere can now vote for their favorite Miss Universe Philippines 2024 finalists and help increase their chances of getting closer to the crown. From the Top 20, vote for your favorite to enter the Top 10. And from the Top 10, you can vote again to move up your favorite to the Top 5! From the Top 5, vote one last time for the one you think deserves to be Miss Universe Philippines 2024! This is exactly how it feels to be a Judge in Miss Universe Philippines! The power to choose our next queen is in YOUR hands."

There are 53 delegates vying for the crown and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 title.

The Coronation will be live-streamed on the Empire.PH Youtube channel.

The event kicked off with an onstage appearance of reigning queen Michelle Dee and a performance by drag queen Marina Summers. The MUPH 2024 delegates then introduced themselves.

Hosts Alden Richards, R'Bonney Gabriel, and Jeannie Mai (who's visiting the Philippines for the first time) then took on the stage. Backstage hosts Tim Yap and Gabbi Garcia followed onstage to introduce the people behind MUPH and the selection committee.
