Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Finalists Sizzle In Swimsuits

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 released its lineup of Final 32 delegates on April 6 through a video reveal on Empire Philippines' YouTube channel. 

Miss Universe Philippines announced its Top 50 for this year's edition last February 28. These chosen delegates were given several challenges to help determine the #UniquelyBeautiful women who deserve to advance to the pageant's next phase. 

These challenges were the Headshot, Introduction Video, Swimsuit, Fashion & Runway, Casting Video, and Interview. 

In the past, from Top 50, MUPH would trim their selection to Top 30 finalists. But this year, there was a twist wherein two finalists were determined by the Kumuniverse. Host Nico Locco explained during the reveal: "Completing the Final 32 delegates will be the Kumunizens' Choice, the winner of the Kumuniverse selection campaign held from March 13th to the 17th, and Kumu's choice, one of our Top 50 delegates with the highest number of streaming hours."

The winner of The Kumuniverse Selection was Shawntel Cruz, who is the official Kumu Candidate representing the province of Benguet. Jeanne Nicci Orcena of Davao del Norte is Kumu's Choice, one of the Top 50 delegates with the highest number of streaming hours on Kumu.

Since it's summer season, we're looking back at these sizzling hot photos of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Finalists during the Swimsuit Challenge. The Top 3 delegates from this challenge (Ma. Katrina Llegado of Taguig, Michelle Marquez Dee of Makati, and Celeste Cortesi of Pasay) are now part of the Final 32.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022's Coronation Night is set to happen on April 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena that will be hosted by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.
