Social media platforms have become the ultimate sources of information and inspiration. People use them on a daily basis, and have become part of their lifestyle. And since Filipinos’ love for celebrities is undeniable, social media provides ways for them to get a peek of the glamorous, colorful, and aspirational lives of these stars on- and off-cam. These showbiz personalities don’t just dominate the small and big screens, they have also conquered the digital sphere as online sensations. They have made headlines with their entertaining, beautiful, controversial, and inspiring posts on their social media accounts, which have created support, engagements, and collective hype from the millions of people who follow them.
Loisa Andalio
This actress, singer, dancer, and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate rose to fame in 2014. For Loisa Andalio, the future was bright even after being the last evictee from the hit reality television show—acting projects for films and television series had already awaited the talented lady outside of the Big Brother House. She was a member of GirlTrends, an all-girl dance group for noontime variety show It’s Showtime, and is now a part of BFF5, the sing-and-dance squad of Sunday variety show ASAP. The multi-talented social media influencer has built a strong fan base across all social media platforms. Angelica Panganiban doesn’t need much introduction—this star has been in the showbiz industry for 25 years.
