These celebrities continue to entertain and influence people even in cyberspace. Their social media accounts provide a compelling account of their day-to-day lives off-cam, delivered through beautiful, fun, and engaging content. Looking at their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts has become a part of many people's daily habit, giving their followers the much-needed dose of celebrity inspiration that they can apply to their lives as well.
Coleen Garcia first caught our attention as a commercial model for a local cologne brand and as a TV actress in supporting roles for shows like My Binondo Girl and Wansapanataym. Then in 2012, Coleen made it to mainstream consciousness as one of the original hosts of noontime show, It’s Showtime, where she eventually met co-host and fiancé, Billy Crawford. Upon leaving the show in 2016, Coleen has proven her knack for acting in both TV (in dramas such as Pasion De Amor and the recently concluded, Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin) and film (in lead roles for films Ex With Benefits, Love Me Tomorrow, and Sin Island). On Instagram, she regularly posts swoon-worthy photos that show her well-toned and sexy body, sweet and candid moments with Billy, and fun times traveling to beaches and busy cities. Recently, she had her bachelorette party with friends in Hawaii, where she once again showcased her perennially beach-ready bod. All eyes are on her now as everyone awaits her latest updates on their upcoming wedding.
Yassi Pressman is the very definition of an all-around performer. She acts, she dances, she sings. And while she has been around since 2006, playing supporting roles such as the third wheel for the love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre in movies like Diary ng Panget and Talk Back and You’re Dead, Yassi really hit primetime status when she moved to the Kapamilya network in 2015. She was immediately cast as Coco Martin’s new love interest, Alyanna Arevalo, in the hit TV show, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. For her musical endeavors, Yassi has released two EPs, and can often be seen as a guest performer on variety show ASAP. Ever the playful individual, Yassi recently went around Manila giving free hugs while promoting her upcoming film, Ang Pambansang Third Wheel, with Sam Milby. She took to Instagram to show her gratefulness and reposted photos of the people she met. Such vibrance and dynamism are what make her feed interesting. It seems there's never a dull moment in her life, and that sends a message to her followers to live life to the fullest.
What initially made people admire Nadine Lustre was the fact that she is a multi-talented artist. She started out as a member of all-female girl group pop Girls and soared to become a well-loved leading lady. She’s an actress and a total performer who can work the stage like no other. But as her fan base grew along with her online following and as she became more and more popular, people have come to know that there is so much more to Nadine. Her well curated Instagram feed hints at her fabulous taste in fashion, her eye for what is beautiful, and her skill in photography. Beneath the beautiful images that fill her feed, Nadine is a strong young woman with a bold personality. She speaks her mind, and stands by her beliefs. Though she has been bashed several times, Nadine knows better than to let herself get affected by other people’s negative comments. Instead of wallowing on criticisms, she channels her energy to more productive and meaningful pursuits. Although she deactivated her Twitter account, she maintains her Instagram and posts a lot of travel photos that give her followers a peek into her life away from the limelight as well as her romantic and adventure-filled moments with onscreen and real-life beau, James Reid. Nadine may be a social media sensation, but she sure knows the importance of unplugging as well, making sure she spends some quality time with her family and friends, no matter how busy she may be.
Maja Salvador became popular as a “Dance Princess,” but over the years, she has showed that there’s more to her than being a dancer. She has successfully established herself as a dramatic actress. Her most memorable teleserye portrayals include Ina, Kapatid, Anak, The Legal Wife, Bridges of Love, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, and most recently, Wildflower, where she became everyone’s favorite revenge-seeking afternoon heroine. Her superb performance as Lily Cruz in Wildflower has made her a trending topic on social media on various occasions. Her performances on movies like Sukob, One More Chance, and Thelma have earned her acting award nominations. Apart from acting, Maja is also a singer with two albums to boot: Believe and Maja in Love. On March 23, this multifaceted artist is set to wow with her “Maja Onstage” concert in KIA Theater. Her social media accounts are well followed not just for her many exciting career endeavors but also her various travels here and abroad.
Janella Salvador gained popularity as Nikki in the television show Be Careful With My Heart at the age of 14. Thanks to this show, her talent in acting was noticed, and shortly after it wrapped up, she was given her big break through the TV show Oh My G!, where she is the lead star. After a string of appearances on Maalaala Mo Kaya and Wansapanataym episodes, the following year, her now-sensational loveteam with Elmo Magalona debuted via the teleserye Born For You. Janella is, no doubt, one of the most in-demand young stars today, proof of this is how she conquered even the international scene as she was tapped to sing the theme song of Disney’s Moana, “How Far I’ll Go,” for its Philippine release. Her OOTDs, selfies, and travel shots show different sides of her persona—girly, sporty, edgy, and even glam.
