See Exclusive Photos From The Grand Opening Of Fashion Designer Patricia Santos' Atelier
Fashion designer Patricia Santos ended February with a grand declaration of love for her craft: the official launch of her atelier in BGC, Taguig. Last November, she gave Metro.Style an exclusive first look at this elegant 182-sq.m. property, and talked about all the hardships she had to go through to build this dream workspace.
Patricia's fashion career had humble beginnings at her sister's garage; eventually, she moved to an old townhouse where an attic served as her workshop, and later converted a two-storey house as her atelier. Today, she is thrilled to have an office in a high-rise building with a stunning view of the urbanscape, which allows her to get lost in thoughts as part of her creative process.

We have followed this young fashion designer's journey ever since she created memorable Star Magic Ball gowns for Kim Chiu (2014) and Kathryn Bernardo (2017), and now we got to witness another milestone in her career.
For the grand opening, her atelier was #Gideonized, the stylish interiors transformed by famous event stylist Gideon Hermosa into a dreamy space filled with delicate flowers in subdued tones. Patricia also worked with superb event planning team La Belle Fete Weddings & Events to organize all the necessary elements that guarantee a successful celebration, celebrity favorite NicePrint Photo for the event coverage, Juan Carlo catering for the delicious and beautifully presented hors d'oeuvres, Indulge Patisserie for the Pinterest-worthy dessert buffet, Bullet Bar for the fine cocktails especially made for the event, and LX Events Pro for the technical requirements at the party.

The intimate gathering was attended by Patricia's family and friends. Her celebrity muses who graced the occasion were Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman, and actresses Chie Filomeno and Elisse Joson. It's Showtime judge and Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves hosted the afternoon affair. Other guests we spotted were microblading expert Momoi Supe, celebrity nail artist Mimi Reyes, and model Vanessa Matsunaga. Bea Alonso Te (aka DJ Butta B) livened up the party with great music.
The short program included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a presentation of a video that showed the journey of Patricia which guests were able to view altogether through IGTV on Patricia Santos Atelier's (@patriciasantosatelier) Instagram account, and a birthday surprise for Megan who turned 29 last February 27.

Instead of a typical runway show, Patricia made use of her office and the fitting rooms to showcase some of her latest creations, worn by her celebrity muses and top fashion models.
In her office, where the key element is a swing by a corner, Elisse, Chie, Megan, and Karen had photo shoots at the lavish #Gideonized vignette.
Guests were also invited to step into the fitting rooms to get a glimpse of Patricia's special collection. Inside, fashion models were live mannequins that looked stunning in the fashion designer's signature intricate, ethereal dresses and gowns.
The event that day lasted till night, and had a part 2 the following day, where more relatives and friends celebrated with Patricia, to mark this amazing achievement.
