Dressed in a Roland Mouret Barwick dress and in sky-high dove gray Manolos, the 36-year-old actress has touched base at Cliveden House Hotel in Taplow, Berkshire, the luxurious retreat where she will be glammed and dolled up for her wedding.

She arrived at the exclusive hotel with her mother on the evening of May 18—the last night in Meghan’s life that she will be spending as a commoner and a single woman. The mother and daughter team made their way to Cliveden after a quick trip to Windsor Castle, where Doris met the Queen and her husband Prince Philip.

Doris is the only family member of Meghan’s who will be at the wedding with her. Her father was originally set to walk her down the aisle, but could no longer attend the ceremony due to a major heart surgery. It has been reported that Meghan has requested Prince Charles to take her father’s place.

Aside from her mother, it is believed that a handful of assistants and Meghan’s glam squad are also checked in at the five-star venue. Her wedding gown—the designer and style of which are yet to be revealed—was said to have arrived at Cliveden before her.

Princes William and Harry greet the crowds

As Meghan and her mother prepared for the royal wedding, Princes William and Harry stepped out of Windsor Castle to greet the hundreds of well-wishers lining the streets. The 10-minute walk about was not announced, and therefore a real treat to the most hardcore of royalists present who camped out at the Windsor grounds in order to get the best view of the day’s events.

Prince Harry, who made Prince William his best man, appeared to be thrilled about his upcoming wedding and made no hints of nervousness. The royal bachelor even managed to shake hands, smile for photographs, and make conversation with a young girl whose name was also Meghan, and who remarked that his bride-to-be was “very nice.”

This public appearance will be one of Prince Harry’s lasts before he officially becomes a husband. The 33-year-old is presently getting ready one of the most important occasions of his life at the Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park in Ascot. He is accompanied by Prince William.

With speculation about who the royal wedding’s famous guests will be, it’s now obvious that many of St. George’s Chapel’s pews will be filled by Meghan’s famous friends.

Her Suits family will be in attendance, as proven by a photo posted by her cast mate, Patrick J. Adams. The image shows familiar faces that Meghan worked with on the set of the hit TV show dining at the Barn Resturant in Sunningdale, Berkshire on the night before the wedding.

Other famous faces said to be present at the wedding—and some, part of the entourage—are Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, tennis star Serena Williams, well-known stylist Jessica Mulroney, world-famous girl group the Spice Girls, and musician Elton John.
