The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 candidates who took the top four spots in both the Headshot and Video Introduction challenges were Kirsten Danielle Delavin, Rousanne Marie Bernos, Maureen Christa Wroblewitz, and Steffi Rose Aberasturi

The journey to the 2021 Miss Universe Philippines finals is officially underway. Last August 8, the top 75 candidates were announced, all showing women from different walks of life. These candidates who advanced to Top 75 were trimmed down from 100 and determined through voting on the Miss Universe Philippines app.

In the end, Kirsten Danielle Delavin of Masbate, Rousanne Marie Bernos of San Juan City, Maureen Christa Wroblewitz of Pangasinan, and Steffi Rose Aberasturi of Cebu topped the Headshot and Video Introduction challenges. The other candidates who placed in both Top 15 lists of the two challenges were Katrina Dimaranan of Taguig, Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna, Maria Corazon Abalos of Mandaluyong, Kamille Alyssa Quiñola of Ilocos Sur, Noelyn Rose Campos of Antique, Cheri Angel Anne Flejoles of Capiz, Angela Nikki de Grano of Negros Occidental, Gianne Kryssee Tecson Asuncion of Cagayan Province, Isabelle delos Santos of Makati, and Mirjan S. Hipolito of Angeles City. Princess Kristha Singh of Pasig took the 15th spot in the Video Introduction challenge, while Jedidah Hefervez Korinihona of Davao del Sur placed 13th on the Headshot challenge.

Taking the top four spots in both challenges were: Kirsten Danielle—also known to fans as Kisses—who first gained popularity after appearing as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother; Rousanne Marie—also known as Ayn—who is a podcast host and owner of Morena the Label; Maureen Christa who won during the fifth season of Asia's Next Top Model and is now a Star Magic artist; and Steffi who was Binibining Cebu 2018.

According to the organization, the Top 75 selection criteria included votes from the “Headshot, Intro Video Challenges and the MUPH Organization. It is not based solely on the fan votes.”

From 75, the candidates will further be trimmed down to 50 hopefuls, who will then experience in-person interviews. From there, 30 candidates will be chosen to join the Preliminaries and Extended Pageant Finals from September 21 to 25, until we find our next Miss Universe Philippines who will represent our country at the Miss Universe pageant this December.
