6 Rainy Day Date Ideas To Stay Hot And Steamy
Rainy days can be pretty slow. If you’re outdoors and you get caught in it, chances are you’re stuck in traffic or somewhat drenched from the commute. If you’re indoors, there’s a bigger chance your productivity goes out the window and you indulge in a nice long nap. Should you have a rainy day in with your significant other, however, that’s a really good time to get right down to “funny business” and turn it into a full-on date.
Here are six scintillating activities to get you and your loved one going:
1. Cook or bake!
A pair of steaks to go with some red wine or a light soup in a freshly-made bread bowl will settle you both in. The process of making the meals will be fun and lighthearted, plus who’s to say you can’t pop open a nice bottle of bubbly while you’re prepping? You can also try looking up new recipes online to try out or even attempt recreating a dessert you tried on a vacation you took.
2. Play games!
If you’re not into board games like Scrabble or Monopoly, maybe one of you owns a console and you can play video games. While that sounds more like a competitive adrenaline rush situation, it can certainly be channeled into sexual energy. You can even sit down with a pack of cards and play strip poker—or more physical games like Twister.
3. Stream and cuddle!
While “Netflix and chill” seems overrated, it really depends on what you watch. Luckily, there are multiple legal sources of streams online. You can choose to cuddle up while watching a love story, find comfort during a suspense thriller, or even get excited watching something that tickles both your fancies—time to take out those eroticas!
4. Pamper time!
Getting pampered is definitely not just an in-salon or girls-night-in thing. Have the same fun with your partner. Indulge in a luxurious bubble bath for two (champagne is optional) or give each other massages! A couple massage done by a home service company works well, but wouldn’t it be great to please your partner and be pleased by them with your place all to yourselves? You get to freely massage your SO anywhere you want.
5. Get sweet!
Chocolate is always a good idea. Whip out some of the “special occasion” ones you’ve been saving in the fridge or pop over to a nearby convenience store and get some cocoa. Snuggling with sweets will always be lots of fun. If you can get a hold of some strawberries to dip in chocolate, feed each other! And don’t forget—there’s such a thing as body chocolate that you can lick up and down.
6. Feed your mind!
Pick up a nice book you’ve both been meaning to read or you both like, curl up in bed, and read it together. It’s a nice way to unwind and escape to another world together and start some good conversation. Should you pick up a nice romance novel, you might even get ideas for things you can try out later on. The possibilities with books in bed are endless.
Whatever you decide to do, just remember that cold and wet outside doesn’t mean it can’t be hot and steamy inside!
