Phenomenal Views and a Breathtaking Infinity Pool in Acea, Subic

Just a stone’s throw from the metro is a haven for relaxation and fun under the sun.

Everyone deserves to rest, a time to pause and refresh from the daily stress of work and life. And while a vacation far away from the metro sounds like a dream, mostly because weekends or holidays just won’t cut it, there’s a resort just a few miles north of the city for couples, friends, and family vacations.

For a short but incredibly sweet vacation in nearby Subic, just two hours from the metro, Metro.style recommends Acea Subic Bay, a resort hotel with its own private beach, amazing amenities and offerings, and stunning views that will whisk you right into relaxation mode.

More than just a bed

Acea Subic Bay is complete with everything you’d look for in a hotel resort: accommodation, facilities, and experience. The property itself is a beautiful sprawl of land with villas separated into buildings, some offering a view of the sea. Each nook and corner is very well designed, with accents of wood and greenery, giving a relaxing and resort vibe the moment you set foot in the property.

Pamela Robinson, General Manager of Acea, shares that at the heart of Acea is its ability to offer a brand new experience to their customers. So more than offering a really soft and comfortable bed to stretch in, Acea is filled to the brim with facilities and activities that caters to everyone.

For families with younger kids, there is a babysitting area and playground. For teens and young-at-heart, there is a games room with consoles and casual games like billiards, darts, and tabletop foosball. For barkadas, there are KTV rooms where you can sing your heart out, the gym to catch up on your fitness goals, and great spreads and options prepared by Acea’s chefs at the restaurant.

And there’s always the option to just lounge lazily around, a drink in hand, savoring the peace and the luxury the resort affords you.

The highlights: The pool and the beach

While we were already very much pleased by Acea’s numerous facilities and activities, and its beautiful architecture, what really steals your heart at the hotel resort is the phenomenal view of the Subic Bay. Acea faces the phenomenal stretch of water that is Subic Bay and the moment you exit the dining area perched on the second floor, you come out of the balcony with views that will take your breath away. Imagine enjoying a drink or a meal at the balcony, with the warmth of the sun bathing you and the whole of Subic Bay taking you in its arms.

Go down the balcony and you’ll head straight into Acea’s infinity pool, whose waters stretch into the Subic Bay. It’s a great swim during the morning, especially since there are sun loungers by the pool for sunbathing. But come sunset, you’ll get to bid the sun good night as it drowns you in its golden farewell.

The sand stretch in front of Acea is its very own private beach, which is one of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in the whole Subic area. It’s great for those who’d love salt water for a change, and also the choice of venue for beach weddings and parties.

The fun doesn’t end at Acea

And while you’re in Subic, might as well visit the surrounding activities and experiences. Nearby Acea are great vacay options like a tour of Zoobic Safari, an opportunity for kids (and kids at heart!) to get up close with animals that you won’t normally see on a day-to-day basis; or a day at Inflatable Island, the biggest floating playground in Asia.

As Pamela said, your trip to Acea doesn’t end at Acea; there’s a whole lot of experience and fun to discover at Subic.
