LOOK: There's A Village Of Iconic Sets Featured In K-Drama Hits, Hyun Bin's 'Secret Garden' And Park Seo-Joon's 'What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim'
Maiim Vision Village is a vast landscape where nature and people meet in harmony—and where some of our favorite K-dramas were filmed, too!
The Extended Community Quarantine has turned our summer season into “K-drama binge-watching” season; the whole country is hooked! The huge catalogue of shows on Netflix or other streaming websites gave us the opportunity to delve into Korean drama land, making us wish we’re flying to South Korea for spring instead. But for now, all we can do is sit back, relax, and ship our favorite K-drama pairs on screen.
Apart from the beautiful actors and impressive story plots, though, we’re also captivated by the sets where these shows are filmed, not to mention the impressive design talent that went into their making. Some of these places have welcomed not just a single, but a handful of dramas that the most memorable scenes are set. One standout filming location that captured our attention is Maiim Vision Village, made famous by fan favorites, Secret Garden and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.

One look and you’ll easily recall this pristine and spacious mansion. Remember where Kim Joo-won and Oska spend their days in Secret Garden? Or where those romantic moments between Lee Young-joon and Kim Mi-so took place? Yup, we’re at the right spot!

Owned by beauty and health company Maiim, this vast landscape is the company’s communications center, where the culture of nature comes vividly alive. Described as a place “of happiness where you can feel, touch and breathe nature” and “where nature and people meet in harmony,” the picturesque location features architecture and scenic views that makes for a relaxing escapade.

The whole property is an attraction in itself, with areas like the Open House, where visitors can rest with an unfiltered view of the surrounding landscape, the rustic Sol House surrounded by fresh pine trees, and the glass house at the edge of the Maiim Vision Village called Step House. But it’s the Drama Village that takes the spotlight—from architect Tadao Ando-designed Church of the Heart (where the iconic Young-joon proposal took place!) to the Drama House where Hyun Bin’s Secret Garden character resides.
