5 Destinations We're Taking Note Of From Pia Wurtzbach And Jeremy Jauncey's Maldives And Morocco Trips
They're definitely included in our post-pandemic travel bucket list!
Can you smell the saltwater and feel the sand between your toes, maybe even taste the peppermint tea and take in the visual feast of colors and landscapes?
We (sort of) can, thanks to us living vicariously through Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey's Maldives and Morocco vacations!
The couple that just celebrated their first anniversary treated themselves to a romantic getaway in not one, but two of the most beautiful places in the world. They first headed to The Maldives where they experienced a tropical holiday in luxury, and then flew halfway around the world to Morocco, a gem of a destination, where they took full advantage of being two of the country's few visitors.
Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey's Maldives and Morocco vacations are inspiring us to look forward to better days ahead when we can all hop back on planes, boats, trains, buses, and cars to explore lands far and wide.
Scroll through the galleries below to see where these two went as well as what they saw and experienced!

Joali, Muravandhoo Island, Northern Maldives
The Maldives is pretty much a destination synonymous to endlessly lounging around your very own (and very beautiful) private villa afloat on the clearest turquoise waters you ever did see. And when Pia Wurtzbach and her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey visited the top travel destination, they made sure to choose a location that brought them the best of both worlds: luxury travel and an up close and personal encounter with nature via a quiet lagoon and powdery soft shores. This couple's first stop was at Joali, a resort where classic Maldives experiences abound. Joali is highly recommended to those visiting the Maldives for the first time.

Soneva Jani, Medhufaru Island, The Maldives
The Soneva Jani isn't just on people's bucket lists because of it's stunning location, but because it's an extremely pricey place to book and stay at. It's secluded from many of Maldives' more touristy locations, so flights can often be few and far in-between. But that's part of the appeal; you'll get one hundred percent privacy and truly feel that the whole shoreline is your own considering the very select few that get to travel to this part of the world. It might not be a top of mind destination for a long holiday getaway, but it's an amazing choice for extra special occasions you'd like to celebrate in ways you'll never forget.

Soneva Fushi, Kunfunadhoo Island, The Maldives
Here's another reason why jetsetters love The Maldives: though going from island to island might require some travel time, the "commute," if you can even call it that, is an experience in itself. There are no jampacked roads and stressful cities to traverse, just pristine waterways and the gentle lapping of waves against the boat as you shuffle from one destination to another. Pia and Jeremy stayed at three islands in their Maldives trip, the last one being Kunfunadhoo, home to the Soneva Fushi resort. One of the biggest draws of this location as shared by Pia is the opportunity to walk through a tropical forest, untouched save for a sand trail soft enough to walk barefoot on. Coming at a close second is learning the centuries-old art of glass-blowing, an activity where you can, quite literally, learn how to make delicate glassware. The cuisine, of course, is another huge come-on. Fresh catches of the day always dominate the menu and you can never go wrong with a plateful of regional delicacies you can never have anywhere else.

El-Fenn, Marrakesh, Morocco
From Asia, Pia and Jeremy headed over to Africa! They explored one of the most mysterious destinations of them all: Morocco. They explored the northeastern African country and enjoyed the season's cool and crisp weather, getting to experience the best it has to offer sans crowds and overflowing streets. They stayed at a neat little boutique hotel called El-Fenn, a place that has only 31 rooms, each of which are styled differently. Their hotel was as interesting as the city they were in and it's perfect for those who like to spend as much time exploring a new destination outdoors as much as they do staying in and enjoying their hotel's full amenities.

Dar el Bacha - Musée des Confluences
The Dar el Bacha - Musée des Confluences has been around since 1910, and it's loved by so many because a visit to the location - which used to be a high official's grand residence - feels like going back in time. It's so well-preserved that many of its original fixtures, flooring, and even colors remain! The Dar el Bacha - Musée des Confluences, in essence a museum, is perfect for travelers who need to get their cultural or historical fix while on a trip to a brand-new place.
