Where To Go For The Holidays? Take Cues From The Most Glamorous Celebrity Vacations Of 2019

The year so far has been a great one for living vicariously through our favorite celebrities’ Instagram travel diaries. While we’re all living our mundane lives—either stuck in an office, or a classroom, or at home—the rich and famous are trotting the globe in style, and many of us are enviously living for it. 

While it’s unhealthy to obsess over and get jealous of the impossible, seemingly picture-perfect lives these stars are living, a little innocent daydreaming never hurt anyone. These luxurious vacations are definitely something worth keeping at the back of your mind, and possibly add to the travel bucket list. 

Here are some of the most glamorous celebrity vacations of 2019. 

ITALY

Italy seems to be a very popular choice this year, with celebrities like Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner choosing the country as their birthday bash destination. While Gomez spent some time making ravioli with friends in Rome, Jenner decided to see the glorious view of the colorful Positano cliffside with her family. Both, of course, couldn’t resist a little seaside adventure on the Amalfi Coast. Meanwhile, Camilla Cabello decided to spend some much needed R & R in Tuscany—soaking in the sights, and eating delicious cheeses and cold cuts.

TANZANIA

Julianne Hough and her husband Brooks Laichs took a trip somewhere a little less popular. The two decided to take a trip to the African safari in Tanzania, and glamped at the luxurious Taasa Lodge in Arusha, Tanzania, where wildlife was literally right at their doorstep. It also helps that the camp has a pool to beat the heat. The two seemed to have a great time, with Hough posting photos of animals in the wild, and describing their experience as “humbling and magical.”

MALLORCA, SPAIN

Katy Perry and her fiancé actor Orlando Bloom spent some time in Mallorca, Spain, enjoying the sea and sun. Bloom also chose to spend their time there to go on a difficult hike up a rocky mountain. The climb led to a gash on his ankle, but as the actor wrote in his Instagram post, “the best view comes after the hardest climb.”

PARIS

The city of lights and love never gets old. It’s a popular tourist destination, and isn’t exactly the most ideal for celebrities looking to lay low, but it’s simply too beautiful to stay away from. Aussie couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban couldn’t resist a leisurely stroll in the romantic Tuileries Garden after attending the Taormina Film Fest in Sicily. Songstress Celine Dion also took in the sights and sounds of Paris this year. And Heidi Klum also made the voyage not just for the city, but also to go to the most magical place on earth, Disneyland, with her fiancé Tom Kaulitz.

TURKS & CAICOS

The beach is always a great, relaxing getaway, and both Drake and Kylie Jenner know that. Champagne Papi spent some time in the archipelago, sipping on what looks like actual champagne by the pool, and also showing off his fit physique by the shore. Meanwhile, Kylie decided the islands were the perfect place to celebrate the launch of her skincare brand Kylie Skin with her girlfriends.

COSTA RICA

It’s no secret that Kourtney Kardashian loves a good vacation by the sea. On one of her bikini-clad trips this year was in the beautiful Central American country of Costa Rica. Aside from showing off her stunning figure in thirst trap-worthy photos, she also made sure to show the beauty of a Costa Rican sunset.
