7 Picture-Perfect Places To Stay At When In Baguio

The Summer Capital of the Philippines' cool climate, the sight and scent of pine trees in With its cooler climate, the sight and scent of pine trees and a pretty good repertoire of food haunts, Baguio sounds like a very good idea in this hot Manila weather.

Now that Boracay is officially crossed out of your list of destinations (at least for the time being), Baguio could very well reclaim ownership of the “summer capital” crown. With its cooler climate, the sight and scent of pine trees in John Hay, and a pretty good repertoire of food haunts, Baguio sounds like a very good idea in this hot Manila weather. You can stay in the Manor, or the hotel Le Monet. But you can also be less predictable and opt for the rental homes and B-and-Bs, some of which offer hotel-standard services and amenities, anyway. Some may even look better on your ‘Gram, like the ones we’ve listed here. Whether you’re going for the log cabin, marshmallow-roasting aesthetic, or just a pretty and chic backdrop to your emotive selfies, these inns are so photogenic you don’t even need to step out to snap your OOTDs.

1 Kamiseta Hotel

Bless your feed with this very Instagrammable hotel whose façade and interiors look like a Marie Antoinette playhouse. A hotel named after the girly apparel label, the design echoes the whimsical and cheerful nature of Kamiseta’s clothes, with its bounty of paisley prints, toile and candy colors. The place gives off the feel of being on top of a cupcake, with every corner just calling out for a photograph.

4. The Country Place Baguio

The Country Place Baguio is a former ancestral house which has been transformed into a chic bed and breakfast. The style is more grown-up and sophisticated, with its combination of rustic furniture and glass windows framed in white. Each of the three rooms comes complete with a living area, a balcony with a view, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Feel at home while enjoying the amenities of a hotel. They allow for barbecues and a bonfire as well—but not inside the house.
