Marc Nelson’s Adventures On "Beached" Is Your Ultimate Water Escape This Summertime
The "Beached" host takes us island-hopping around the country—the perfect respite for the scorching summer in our midst
If there’s one thing that the lockdown can’t stop, it’s the arrival of summer season. This year, we welcome the scorching heat inside our homes, making us wish we were submerged in the cool, crystal waters of our favorite beach destination instead. But it doesn’t mean we have to spend the rest of summertime wallowing in self-pity from our canceled vacation plans!
Sure, traveling to an island is out of the question, but there are other ways to satisfy that thirst for the outdoors. Through Metro Channel’s travel show Beached, let host Marc Nelson take you around some of the best destinations the Philippines has to offer.
In Camarines Sur, the host tried wakeboarding at the CamSur Watersports Complex, discovered the enchanting waters of Engkanto Falls, went paddleboarding at Tres Marias, and climbed up and cliff at the Casil-itan Rock Wall.
Further south, Eastern Samar offered Marc a stunning view of Ando Island from a hammock atop a cliff. Romblon introduced the friendly sea turtles at Cobrador Island, while Sorsogon gave him a chance to swim with whale sharks. And finally, Camiguin shared a taste of laid-back luxury bathing in an outdoor kawa bath.
