9 Hotels And Inns Where Your Pets Are Most Welcome

No one should be left behind, especially not our four-legged babies. They can be a handful sometimes, sure, but just by seeing our furry ones follow us around the house while we get ready to go out for a quick vacation and then eventually flop to the ground after they realize they aren’t coming is an enormous lump in the throat—it’s a heartbreak I don’t wish for anyone to experience.

Every fur parent who loves to travel probably has googled “pet-friendly hotels” a million times already. Surprised but all the more grateful, there are a great number of resorts and hotels around the city and in the suburbs that welcome very im-paw-tant guests!

We are more than glad to help out our fellow fur parents and share these pet-friendly hotels and inns that your very own Wizzy and Pancakes can literally run to.

1. Costa Pacifica – Baler, Aurora

The captivating blues and greens that take up most of the scenery in Costa Pacifica is a sight to behold but seeing the #DogsOfCosta run freely around the resort is entirely a different story of pure joy. A Pet Policy Letter is a must upon check-in so make sure to ring the hotel first and let them know that you’re bringing along your pet with you.

2. Acuaverde – Laiya, Batangas

If salt water can shoo our woes away, wait till you see your big Golden baby hit the waves in Acuaverde and it will surely douse any signs of negative vibes. The resort allows a maximum of 2 pets per guest with a minimal fee of P900 per pet per day.

3. Rock Inn – Sagada, Mountain Province

Aside from being welcomed by several flower blooms and the serene landscape that is Sagada, Rock Inn’s resident chow Dutches will shower you with fluff and adorable semi-cold stares right before you enter the inn. Just be sure to dress your pets with extra clothing since the weather up the mountains could be a bit too much for them especially for those with thin fur coats.

4. T-House – Tagaytay

The growing need for pet-friendly accommodations has inspired T-House to open their doors to our barking and meowing offspring. The place allows pets under 22 lbs. and have proper medical certification to ensure the comfort and the safety of other staying guests. T-House also charges a non-refundable fee of P750 per night.

5. Fraser Place – Makati

Without having to exit the busy highways of the city, Fraser Place in Makati welcomes pets in their suites. Be ready to pay a non-refundable P5,000 before checking out of the room as part of their pet-policy.

6. Apo Nena Bed and Breakfast – Ilocos Sur

Farther up north is a bed and breakfast that serves as a home to friendly beach doggos. So, bringing your own dog to this inn is not an issue. An approximately 6-hour road trip from Manila to Ilocos won’t be boring and butt-numbing at all if you have your dogs with you. Just be sure to pack enough treats and water if they get a little cranky.

7. The Farm at San Benito – Lipa, Batangas

Nothing can ever set your mind at peace knowing that your fur baby is safe beside you rather than at home, nursing loneliness alone. The Farm at San Benito is pod of tranquility in Batangas that allows you to carry with you your most beloved pet. Specialty villas are available when you wish to bring one with you.

8. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar – Bagac, Bataan

The largest heritage resort in the country is pet-friendly, too! Travelling back to the 18th century is even more fun if you can tag along your babies with you. Those who are staying at Casas (entire house) are allowed to bring their pets with an additional fee of P2,500 per night. Hotel rooms, sadly, can’t accommodate pets at this moment.

9. Green Canyon Eco Art Resort – Bamban, Tarlac

It looks as if this resort is made especially for pets and not for humans. Sure, fur parents can have a ball at this eco resort, but our four-legged favorite creatures can have their own playing time too at the pet walking area and at the pet-friendly guided trek, not to mention the dog bed and dog towel that comes with your room accommodation. The wave pool is open to dogs as well every Sunday. The cost of an overnight good time with your babes is only P1000.

You and your fur babies are about to have one hell of a fun time either at the beach or just cuddling inside a cozy hotel room.

You’re welcome! ??
