Tootsy Angara
Out of all the places Tootsy Angara has visited, London is her favorite destination, given ?its appeal for the entire family. The mother? of three has found that the English capital has something to offer kids of all ages, as her children grow from tots to teenagers. Given the rich history of the city’s structures—the number of museums, gardens, royal palaces, and landmarks—she has found no shortage of sights for her family to enjoy together.

The Angaras love walking through ?all the parks and royal gardens,? but Kensington Gardens is their particular favorite. The family enjoys strolling around? the grounds and feeding the swans in the pond, and while Tootsy and her children run around the Peter Pan-themed playground dedicated to Princess Diana, her husband Senator Sonny finds a comfortable bench to sit on and read. Another advantage of the Kensington Gardens is its location, which is a mere 15-minute walk from their from their? favorite Chinese ?restaurant,? Mandarin?Kitchen, which? Tootsy claims? serves the most delicious Peking duck.

A little bit outside central London is one of Britain’s beloved attractions, and another Angara family favorite. Dating back to the early 16th century, the Hampton Court Palace served as a home for the Tudor family, and is one of the two remaining palaces owned by King Henry VIII. After several expansions by generations of royals throughout the years, the grand palace offers much for families to explore, including the famous Maze, which Tootsy claims is “really a challenge to get ?out of.” Beyond the number of towers, the manicured gardens, and the spectacular facade, the number of secrets and stories ?of Henry VIII captures the interest of their children.
According to Tootsy, studies have shown that kids who read Harry Potter grow up to be better people—another compelling reason to make the Warner Bros. Studio Tour of “The Making of Harry Potter” a must-visit for their family.
